Engagement Photo Sessions
Congratulations on your engagement! I am so honored you have asked me to photograph your engagement pictures. I am looking forward to our upcoming photo shoot. I want to give you some information before our shoot to make sure I cover any questions you may have. This will also give me a chance to get a little feedback from you.
How long is the session?
The session is up to one hour. This will give us time to get different pictures in different locations. This also includes time for an outfit change. By changing your clothes you will have a larger variety of pictures to choose from. Of course it isn’t necessary to have multiple outfits, but it will give you a variety of looks. But please keep in mind a location to change clothes might be limited based on where the photo shoot is taking place.
What do you mean by one location?
By one location I refer to one specific address. Not one set place. We will move around to get a lot of different backgrounds and looks. We won’t however drive to another location. If you do request to be photographed at another location that is possible, but please note there will be an additional charge for that service.
How many pictures can I expect to get?
I estimate approximately 20 high resolution digital files. They will be a combination of close ups to distance shots. This will give you a variety of pictures to use for your engagement announcements, saves the dates, newspaper announcement, memory book or however you wish to use the pictures. You can also expect the pictures 5-7 days after the photo shoot.
How and when do I pay you?
I take payment the day of the photo shoot. I accept cash, checks or PayPal. Checks can be made out to Andee Fagan Fiber Arts & Photography LLC. PayPal payments can be sent to Andee.Fagan@gmail.com. Your digital photographs will not be sent until I receive payment.
What should I wear?
You should wear something amazing! You just got engaged! Okay for real you should wear something that you are comfortable in, but looks amazing! This is such an exciting time for you and if you aren’t wearing something comfortable for your shoot that can really dampen the mood of the pictures. So wear something that represents your style. You don’t have to be matchy matchy, but coordinating colors do look well together. Look like you are going to the same place together. If one of you looks like you are going for a hike then your fiancé should also look like they are going on a hike. If one of you looks like you are going on a yacht then your fiancé should also look like they are going on a yacht. Most importantly wear clothing you are comfortable in and shows off your personal style.
Now it is time for me to ask you a few questions. You can copy and paste the following questions and answer them and send them back to me. Or you can read them and just think about them and we can chat about them before we start on the day of our shoot. The only question I would like answered in advance is the question about the chalk board sign so I can have it ready the day of the photo shoot.
#1. Do you have a wedding date and would you like to hold a sign announcing the date of your wedding?
I can arrange to have a sign written up with whatever information you would like on it such as: names & wedding date.
#2. Does your wedding have a theme? Do you want me to incorporate your theme into your shoot?
#3. Are you going to make a photo album of your engagement shoot for guests to sign at your wedding?
#4. Do you have any specific requests?
I am really looking forward to your photo shot. I like to make the session as fun and easy going as possible. This is such a fun time in your life and I am so glad you asked me to be a small part of it and I look forward to documenting this exciting time for you.
Best Wishes,
Andee
